• Audacity - Free cross platform software you can use to edit and mix your audio files.
• Free Conference - What I use to record some interviews over the phone (audio quality of recordings are good, but not excellent).
• Wordpress + Podpress - What I use to publish my podcast.
• Skype + Pamela - What I use to record interviews using VOIP (listen to the NewMediaTycoon podcast to hear the audio quality - just superb).
• Feedburner - Use this for your RSS feed.
• Camtasia - What I use to create video tutorials (see this post as an example).
• Plantronics - The headset/microphone combination that I use to capture my voice. It plugs into the headphone/mic jack on my laptop. Some connect via your USB port. Costs between $50 to $80. Select the 400 or 700 series depending on your OS and sound card capabilities. Buy direct from Plantronics or look for them at your local electronics store, eg. Best Buy, Future Shop, Circuit City, etc.
